Awesome For Custards and IceCream

I'm actually considering replacing this after I managed to get the LCD screen wet. My only complaints with this up until the LCD died was that it's top heavy and the silicone spatula can come loose when stirring hot item. A silicone whisk attachment would have been useful as well. Favourite use was monitoring the temp range for making custards for ice cream and knowing just when to remove the heat. Audible alert for the target temp works beautifully, stir and heat without having to grab a separate thermometer. Accurate range, Easy to use. Does not work well with small pots; falls out to easily. Can work with some kettles to monitor water temp (great for lower trmps and yeast.) I use it with my stovetop kettle. Probe is fed through the ".lid". Handle on the lid is removed which doesn't work for all kettles.
