The ULTRA probe ensures meat is cooked perfectly and accurately every time. Featuring a long, 40-inch cord, rust-proof stainless steel, and high-heat comfort grip handle, the probe is designed for improved performance and long life. The extra thin probe tip leaves a smaller puncture hole when sampling and temperature accuracy.  Heat resistant in an oven temperature of up to 392 degrees. Universally designed to fit all newer Polder Digital In-Oven Thermometers, it is the ideal replacement probe for safe and accurate cooking.  Use as an instant read when grilling or at higher oven temperatures Cannot be used with other brands of Thermometers

Old meat thermometer- new probe fits

Very reasonable price to replace the old probe. I destroyed the old probe while cooking our Christmas Roast. The wire on the old probe came in contact with the broiler element. My error.

Original temp probe bit the dust

We had to get either a new timer or find out if we could get a new probe - New probe it is! I love this improved probe, the wiring came undone on the original probe where it joins the metal, this one has that REALLY nifty handle in that spot, I love that!

replacement probe

Works as expected in the thermometer. Nice having replacement parts instead of replacing the entire unit and throwing out the old. Try not to fry this one.
